Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team, Taylor & Mergui Law Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to independently manage Accident Benefits (AB) files with the assistance of your team. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to take ownership of a file, move it forward, and manage their workload with minimal supervision.

What you will do:

- Independently manage a caseload of Accident Benefits files
- Handle files from intake through the various stages of the claim
- Communicate directly with clients, insurers, adjusters, treatment providers and other parties
- Manage deadlines, documentation and ongoing file strategy
- Keep files organized, current and moving forward
- Work with your own support team of production assistants and law clerks
- Identify issues and take initiative rather than waiting for direction

What we are looking for:

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Robust experience managing files independently
- Accident Benefits (AB) experience is required




- Excellent organization and file-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Someone who is confident, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of their work
