Join Cenovus as a skilled Wapiti Operator within our Northern Corridor Operations team. Candidates will ensure effective and safe operations of oil batteries and wells in Grande Prairie. This full-time position focuses on the optimization and operation of the Wapiti oil battery and related fields.

The successful candidate will manage call-outs, enhance production, and lead safety practices with minimal supervision. Your experience will be crucial in conducting hazard assessments and maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and troubleshoot oil wells and compression systems
- Optimize production while identifying improvement opportunities
- Conduct hazard assessments and lead safety protocols
- Manage call-outs and minimize operational issues
- Supervise contractors during maintenance and startup activities

Requirements:

- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Experience with oil treating and compression
- Proven ability to work independently
