Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three current buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens,



the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition, currently in progress is the development of a new multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD). This new building will be located just north of Dundas on Church Street and will be home to four academic health services programs, Toronto Met.

September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 Lab Monitor - $23.89 per hour

September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027

Lab Monitor - $24.49 per hour

Additional Information

Supervising laboratories; demonstrating and explaining and helping students; problem-solving Monitoring and maintaining the working condition of equipment in the assigned laboratory/learning environment

Attending employer orientation workshops; attending mandatory employer training assisting lab technicians with preparing labs and other related projects

- Actual hours may vary at offer time dependent on qualifications and determined rate of pay. Employees can work up to a maximum of 130 hours per semester or 390 hours per academic. Employees shall not be guaranteed work and when not on assignment they shall not receive any pay or payment in lieu of benefits.
