Field Equipment Mechanic

Ready to put your skills to work? Join our team at our Deer Lake Site in Pine Dock, Manitoba, where you’ll keep essential field equipment running smoothly. Work hands-on with tractors, loaders, wagons, harrows, and vacuum equipment, performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Diesel mechanic and welding experience are required. If you’re a skilled, hands-on mechanic who enjoys variety and solving mechanical challenges, we want to hear from you!

JOB SUMMARY:

- Maintain, inspect, and repair tractors, loaders, wagons, harrows, and vacuum equipment;
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and transmission systems;
- Perform preventative maintenance, welding repairs, and approved work orders;
- Ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Diesel mechanic and welding experience required;
- Mechanical training or equivalent experience;
- Agricultural or heavy equipment experience is an asset;
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and safely.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

- Permanent, full time position;
