The Document

Controller will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and distributing project documentation for a large-scale natural gas pipeline construction project. This role ensures that all technical, quality, and project-related documents are accurately controlled, traceable, and compliant with project and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have minimum 5 years of document control experience within construction or industrial projects and demonstrated intermediate knowledge of EDMS platforms, particularly Procore .

Set up, maintain, and manage document control processes in accordance with project standards Ensure all drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence are current and properly version-controlled Coordinate document workflows between engineering, construction, quality, safety, and project management teams Generate document control logs, reports, and trackers as required Perform quality checks to ensure document accuracy, completeness,



and compliance Maintain confidentiality and integrity of project documentation Support audits and regulatory reviews by ensuring proper document traceability Assist project teams with EDMS usage and document retrieval when needed Minimum 5years of experience in a document control role, preferably within pipeline, construction, or industrial projects Intermediate hands-on experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) Strong understanding of document numbering, revision control, and approval workflows Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to manage high document volumes in a fast-paced project environment Experience on natural gas, oil & gas, or pipeline projects Familiarity with Alberta-based construction or regulatory documentation standards Procore, SharePoint, or other EDMS experience is an asset 100% covered health and dental benefits for you and your dependents (including paramedical services) ~ Health spending account, to top up expenses not covered in the benefits program ~ Access to a range of online learning tools, and support for career development and growth ~ We believe in work-life balance, so you can recharge and take care of what matters most with vacation, flex and sick days ~ A flexible, hybrid work approach that allows colleagues to find balance between their professional and personal lives ~ To support this we promote a healthy, productive and flexible working environment that respects work-life balance.
