Finance Consultant (Independent Contractor)

The Opportunity:

Vistera gives small and mid-sized businesses on-demand access to legal, HR, and financial expertise through a subscription platform accelerated by our proprietary AI, Vero, and backed by a network of licensed professionals.

We’re building a network of experienced Finance professionals and are looking for fractional Finance Consultants to join us. In this role, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, work with multiple small and mid-sized organizations, and make a meaningful impact by providing the financial expertise they need.

Department: Delivery

Compensation: $100-$125/hour, dependent on experience

What You’ll Do:

- Provide financial guidance and support to a variety of clients, from small businesses to mid-sized organizations
- Offer expertise in areas such as financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and business performance optimization
- Help clients identify challenges and opportunities, and implement solutions that support their business goals
- Build strong relationships with client leaders and teams as a trusted advisor
- Analyze financial data and present insights in a clear, actionable manner that drives business results
- Operate independently while maintaining open communication with our team and client stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:





- 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial consulting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis
- Experience developing and improving financial processes, controls, and reporting
- Able to partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; able to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical, business-oriented solutions
- Comfortable working independently across multiple client engagements with varying needs and priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
