Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs, expense management, and other financial analysis as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pricing Analysis: Analyze the cost structure for products and services to ensure competitive pricing and maintain profitability. Maintain price list, propose & implement price increases/decreases, product discontinuation, involvement in new product pricing.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze direct and indirect costs, variances, and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Gather cost data from various departments, vendors, and internal sources. Generate accurate and timely reports highlighting key findings and trends.
- Expense Management: Verify and ensure accuracy and process in a timely manner expense reports submitted through our expense management software, Expensify.

Secondary Responsibilities
- Cost Control:



Identify cost control measures and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Monitor the execution of cost-saving initiatives and provide progress updates.
- Accounts Payable: Be a backup for AP overflow and when AP staff is on vacation

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or accounting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Working knowledge of Vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc. Visual ERP knowledge is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Knowledge of cost accounting methodologies and principles

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
