Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities at the corporate level. This role provides critical insight into business performance by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decision-making across global manufacturing operations.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics or related field or equivalent in experience.

Work Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or financial planning & analysis, preferably within automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 or OEM workplace strongly preferred).

Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, variance analysis, financial reporting and month-end close support.

- Power BI, SQL, or similar data visualization/analytics tools considered an asset

Physical Abilities:

- Office‑based role with prolonged computer use and periods of sitting or standing
- Occasional travel to manufacturing plants, including walking in production areas
- Ability to stand for short periods and lift light items (up to ~20 lbs.)
- Domestic and international travel as required





Responsibilities and Authorities

- Analyze operational, financial, and program data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across global operations
- Review and improve data integrity, calculation methodologies, and reporting consistency to support sound business decisions
- Partner with executive management to support strategic initiatives and company-wide performance goals
- Develop, maintain, and present monthly and ad-hoc management reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses
- Support business case development for new programs, capital investments, cost reduction initiatives, and strategic opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Costing, Engineering, and Program Management to improve profitability and cost competitiveness
- Recommend updates to policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency, alignment, and governance
- Support Material Cost Reduction (MCR) initiatives with data analysis, tracking, and reporting
- Assist manufacturing plants during product launches, engineering changes, and design modifications by providing analytical and decision-support insights
- Participate in competitive benchmarking and industry trend analysis to support innovation and continuous improvement
- Proactively identify risks, constraints, or deviations and escalate issues as appropriate

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
