In this entry-level role, you will assist with minor repairs, track vehicle performance, and uphold DOT regulations. The apprentice will collaborate closely with experienced mechanics while learning about vehicle maintenance and repair during on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations
- Complete paperwork for repairs and parts usage
- Conduct safety inspections and report equipment deterioration
- Assist in project repairs as directed by supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting
Requirements:
- Currently registered as a Level 3 apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Familiarity with vehicle repair tools and techniques
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to new challenges
