Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, takes their orders, and ensures they receive prompt, courteous service. You will handle food preparation, cashiering, and food safety responsibilities, contributing to the overall efficiency and cleanliness of our food service operation. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently, providing correct change and receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations, adhering strictly to food safety regulations
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices during food preparation and serving




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in maintaining a tidy, organized work environment

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Positive time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is an asset but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
