Scholars Education in Winona is seeking a French language tutor, capable of tutoring both Core and Immersion French language skills from grade 1 to grade 9. As a tutor and mentor with Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible to provide superior individualized academic support to students. You are joining a dynamic team who want you to make a difference for each student who you have the opportunity of working with!

Essential Job Functions

- Instruct students on an as-needed basis. Curriculum materials provided.
- Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required.
- Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s tutoring session.
- Attend training workshops as needed.
- This is an IN PERSON position.

Requirements

- University BA, or must be currently enrolled in a university level program with good standing.
- Proficiency in English and French.
- Proven ability to competently and confidently facilitate student sessions in the French language.




- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work both as a part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.

Job is a PT position, or supplementary income position. Must have ongoing availability for a minimum of two of the following: Monday (3-8pm), Tuesday (3-8pm), Wednesday (3-8pm), Thursday (3-8pm), Saturday (9am-2pm).

Flexible scheduling.

No FT positions available.

Compensation: $19.00/hr
