aēlo is a Canadian brand creating expertly handcrafted, zero proof cocktails for people who want a sophisticated cocktail experience without the alcohol. Our drinks are made for everything from nights in and dinner parties to celebrations, gatherings, and everyday moments worth making a little more special.

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Freelance Content Creator to help bring the aēlo brand to life across social media.

This role is ideal for someone who knows what makes people stop scrolling, loves creating short-form video, and can turn a simple product into content that feels natural, elevated, and engaging.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager to bring content ideas and monthly marketing priorities to life. This is a freelance role with flexible hours and no long-term contract requirement.

What you'll do:

- Create engaging short-form video and photo content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Develop and execute UGC-style, lifestyle, product, recipe and trend-driven content
- Film, edit and produce content that feels native to each social platform
- Brainstorm creative concepts, hooks, trends and content ideas alongside the Marketing Manager
- Help bring monthly marketing campaigns, launches and promotions to life through social content
- Stay on top of emerging TikTok and Instagram trends and identify opportunities that make sense for the aēlo brand
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on content calendars and creative direction
- Make recommendations for current content formats, creative approaches and opportunities based on what is performing
- Review content performance and use insights to inform future creative
- Organize and deliver final content files in a timely manner

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience creating short-form video content for brands
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first video, UGC-style content, product content and/or lifestyle content
- Confident filming and editing video independently
- Strong understanding of Instagram,



TikTok and Facebook as content platforms
- A natural eye for what makes content engaging, entertaining and shareable
- Ability to take a concept or brief and turn it into strong finished content
- Comfortable being creative, experimenting and trying new formats
- Strong understanding of social media trends and what feels native to each platform
- An eye for aesthetics, composition, lighting and storytelling
- Organized, reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable collaborating with a Marketing Manager and taking creative direction while also bringing your own ideas to the table
- Ability to be on comfortable on camera
- Experience working with food, beverage, hospitality, lifestyle or consumer brands is an asset
- Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe or other video/photo editing platforms is an asset
- Familiarity with AI creative tools is an asset

- Building a library of high-quality social content that can be used across organic social and digital marketing

- Being a creative partner to the Marketing Manager and helping turn strategy into great content

The Details:

Role: Freelance Content Creator

Brand: aēlo

Hours: Flexible / project-based

Contract: Freelance $800 - $2,000 a month. Final price dependant on experience, portfolio and deliverables.

Location: Preferably lower mainland BC but open to other locations for the right candidate
