Successful Candidates' Responsibilities

- Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in a classroom setting

Teacher Assistants Qualifications

- Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff
- Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
- Understand and carry out oral and written direction
- Work independently with minimal instruction
- Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
- Respect confidentiality
- Practice professionalism with all RVS School students, staff, administration, parents and public
- Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures




- Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process
- Have strong interpersonal skills and patience
- Enjoys working in a team environment

Start Date

- ASAP

Hours

- 30 hours per week— 6 hours per day/5 days per week

Wage Rate

- $21.05/hour - $30.54/hour depending on qualifications and experience
