BCIT's Campus Planning and Facilities seeks experienced HVAC Mechanics for full-time positions. This role encompasses essential maintenance and complex repair of HVAC and building systems to ensure functionality. As a full-time HVAC Mechanic, your responsibilities will include addressing emergency calls, managing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting high-complexity systems.

You'll interact with various departments and provide guidance on repairs and maintenance while continuously upgrading your knowledge of industry advancements and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform emergency troubleshooting and solution implementation
- Maintain and operate HVAC and gas-fired systems efficiently
- Conduct thorough inspections based on the PM Plan




- Prepare drawings for projects and renovations
- Participate in continuous learning and technology adaptation

Requirements:

- Interprovincial Trades Ticket or valid Trades Qualification needed
- Minimum of 2 years general HVAC experience
- Four years of building automation experience required
- Proficient in using computers for administrative tasks
- Robust interpersonal skills for customer service
