Your role involves essential maintenance and support services, fostering a respectful workplace. As part of the Property Services team, you will focus on maintaining vital building systems and responding to repairs promptly. Expected to perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards, you will communicate effectively with team members and assist with diverse needs across the programs.
This full-time role engages you in meaningful community service. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all building systems and coordinate with contractors
- Ensure safety and good working condition for equipment
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities
- Regularly communicate any project concerns and progress
- Support management with building structure issues and tenant requests
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 education required
- At least 5 years of experience in building maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy items and handle emergency situations
- Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
