Full-Time Renovation & Maintenance Technician

Bella Properties is seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Renovation & Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This position will focus primarily on small-to-medium renovation and repair projects that are more involved than routine maintenance but do not require hiring an outside contractor. The successful candidate will also assist with day-to-day and preventative maintenance when time permits, when no larger projects are underway, or when additional support is needed to address a backlog of maintenance requests.

Primary Responsibilities

- Renovating apartments between tenancies
- Repairing, rebuilding, and replacing decks
- Painting apartments and common areas, including hallways and stairwells
- Framing and constructing small storage rooms and similar structures
- Installing and repairing drywall, flooring, trim, doors, cabinets, and fixtures
- Completing minor carpentry, plumbing, and general repair work
- Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests as required
- Assisting the maintenance team when additional support is needed to address outstanding work orders
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Identifying potential maintenance concerns before they become larger or more costly problems
- Estimating the materials and time required for assigned projects
- Purchasing and organizing materials when authorized
- Keeping worksites clean, organized, and protected
- Completing projects efficiently and to a professional standard




- Assisting with other property maintenance duties as required

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years previous experience in renovations, construction, carpentry, or property maintenance
- General knowledge of residential building repairs and finishing work
- Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record check are required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in occupied residential and commercial properties

Experience with drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, and deck construction is considered a strong asset. This is a full-time position offering steady, year-round work across our portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
