This permanent role involves working directly with youth in the Redwood Program, addressing complex challenges related to mental health and justice system involvement.
Your responsibilities will include client supervision, delivering therapeutic activities, and ensuring a protected, inclusive atmosphere. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support youth while engaging families in the process. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, client-focused care and supervision
- Develop and implement therapeutic programs and activities
- Ensure safety and security within the facility
- Complete necessary documentation and reports
- Engage in day-to-day operational duties
Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in Child & Youth Work or Social Work
- Minimum one year of experience in a live-in treatment setting
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Valid certifications in First Aid/CPR and aggression management
- Ontario G driver’s license is an asset
