About the Role

We are looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking Gas Station Attendants to join our team at a busy gas station and convenience store in Whitby. The ideal candidate is punctual, customer-focused, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You must be willing to work a flexible rotating schedule, as our business operates around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service Process transactions accurately, including fuel, convenience store purchases, lottery, tobacco, alcohol, and other products
- Follow all required ID verification and age-restriction procedures Follow proper lottery procedures, including ticket signing and validation
- Properly process applicable loyalty programs, including CAA and Scene+ Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Restock shelves, coolers, and merchandise
- Receive and organize deliveries when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store
- Complete daily cleaning duties, including floors, counters, washrooms, pumps, and other assigned areas
- Follow all cleaning, maintenance, safety, and security procedures
- Report equipment, maintenance, safety, inventory, or customer concerns to management
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Flexible Availability – REQUIRED Flexibility is an important requirement for this position.
- Candidates must be willing and available to work a variety of shifts, including: Day shifts, Afternoon shifts, Evening shifts, Overnight/night shifts, Weekends, Holidays
- For full-time positions, employees must be available for a flexible schedule and be willing to work different shifts based on business needs.
- Applicants who are only available for one specific shift or only weekdays may not be suitable for this position.

Experience
- Previous gas station or convenience store experience: 1 year preferred
- Customer service experience: an asset
- Cash/POS experience: an asset
- Experience with lottery, tobacco, alcohol, or other age-restricted sales: an asset Important
- Reliability and attendance are extremely important.
- Employees are expected to arrive on time for scheduled shifts, follow company procedures, maintain a professional attitude, and complete all assigned duties.

This is a hands-on position that requires employees to contribute to customer service, sales, cleaning, stocking, safety, and overall store operations. Work Location Whitby, Ontario – In person

Applicants must have reliable transportation or a dependable way to get to work for all scheduled shifts, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
