Position Summary

Advantage Restaurant Supply & Service is seeking a reliable and hands-on General Labourer to support day-to-day in-house operations. This position is ideal for someone who is physically capable, mechanically inclined, comfortable moving equipment and materials, and willing to assist wherever needed. The General Labourer will help maintain an organized and safe workplace while supporting warehouse, equipment, parts, and general operational tasks.

Employment Details

- $19.00 - $22.00 per hour.
- Approximately 30-35 hours per week.
- In-person, in-house work at Advantage Restaurant Supply & Service.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Load, unload, move, organize, and safely store boxes, restaurant equipment, parts, and other materials within the facility.
- Use a pump truck to safely move equipment, pallets, and heavier materials as required.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Provide general labour support to the warehouse, parts, service, and operations teams as required.
- Assist with assembling, preparing, moving, and organizing restaurant equipment and related items.
- Help troubleshoot minor issues and complete basic repairs or adjustments when appropriate.




- Demonstrate a mechanical mindset and a natural willingness to figure out how things work and fix practical problems.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including warehouse and equipment storage areas.
- Follow proper material-handling procedures and all company health and safety policies, including use of PPE when required.
- Handle equipment and company property carefully to prevent damage.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and communicate equipment, safety, or operational concerns to management.
- Assist with other general in-house duties as required to support daily operations.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous general labour, warehouse, equipment handling, maintenance, construction, or similar hands-on experience is an asset.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavier boxes and equipment safely.
- Comfortable using a pump truck; previous experience is an asset.
- Mechanically inclined with a propensity for fixing things and solving practical problems.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and learning to work with different equipment.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different departments.
- Good time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of hands-on responsibilities as operational needs change.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
