Huyck Industrial Ltd. supplies manufacturing companies with a wide range of industrial products and operates a high-volume powder-coating and painted-fastener facility in Surrey.

We are a growing, team-oriented company focused on quality, reliability, safety and long-term customer relationships. Our Value-Add Department prepares millions of custom-painted fasteners for customers across a variety of industries.

We are looking for reliable and motivated General Labourer to join this department. Your work will be an important part of our production process, helping ensure every order is prepared accurately, packaged correctly and ready to reach our customers on time.

Key Responsibilities

Place screws into specialized trays before the painting process

Remove painted screws from trays after production

Visually inspect finished screws for quality

Count and weigh screws according to customer requirements

Package finished screws into boxes for shipping

Label and organize completed customer orders

Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area

Work with teammates to meet daily production targets

Follow WorkSafeBC requirements and company safety procedures

Assist with other general production and packaging duties as required

Requirements

Legally entitled to work in Canada

No previous experience required—full training will be provided





Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Reliable, punctual and ready to contribute

Positive attitude and team-focused approach

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks

Able to stand for extended periods

Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lb

Able to work efficiently in a production environment

Willing to follow all company quality and safety procedures

Completion of secondary school is considered an asset but is not required.
