Dozinghem Industrial Services is currently recruiting an experienced General Laborer to support the IKO Phase E1 Mechanical Project at the IKO Asphalt Plant in Calgary, Alberta.

Working through our client, Cahill Industrial, Dozinghem is providing skilled tradespeople to support mechanical and piping construction within an active industrial manufacturing facility.

Duties:

- Operate equipment on worksites such as; zoom-booms, skid-steers.
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Deliver and pick up equipment for job site as required.
- Execute physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, equipment, and tools.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or damage promptly.
- Assist other skilled workers, such as pipefitters and electricians, by providing the necessary support and carrying out delegated tasks.
- Work closely with team members, contractors, and supervisors to ensure coordinated and efficient completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working workplace.
- All other duties as required

Requirements:

- Zoom boom ticket
- Valid WHMIS certification
- Valid AWP and Harness/Fall Protection training are mandatory




- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks
- Ability to work safely and effectively as a team
- Ability to provide copies of required trade and safety certifications prior to mobilization
- Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, energy, mechanical construction or similar environments

Project Details

- Location: IKO Asphalt Plant - Calgary, Alberta
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day
- Rotation: 4 days on / 3 days off
- Project Duration: Expected to be up to approximately four months
- Start: September 21, 2026
- Rate: $33.80/hour
- Schedules, hours and project duration may change based on operational and project requirements.
