We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Ground Worker to join our tree removal crew. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that plays an significant role in keeping our tree removal operations safe, efficient, and organized.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, enjoys physical work, takes direction well, and is willing to learn. Previous tree work or landscaping experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

- Pull and drag brush from the work area to the wood chipper
- Feed brush into the chipper safely and efficiently
- Assist with running and managing ropes during tree removals
- Help guide and control branches and sections of trees being lowered to the ground
- Load, stack, and organize firewood
- Clean and maintain the job site throughout the day
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment, tools, brush, logs, and firewood




- Perform general labor and support other crew members as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and instructions
- Maintain and care for company equipment and tools
- Work efficiently as part of a team to complete jobs safely and on schedule

Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labor
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift, carry, drag, and move heavy materials
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to follow directions and work well as part of a crew
- Safety-conscious and aware of your surroundings
- Previous experience in tree work, landscaping, construction, or other physical labor is an asset
- Valid driver's license is mandatory

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
