St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full-time teaching position at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This position will begin immediately and end June 30, 2027. We are seeking an engaging, cooperative, and dedicated Educator to fill a temporary 1.0 FTE Grade 7 & 8 Humanities position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dynamic Language Arts and Social Studies instruction, fostering critical thinking, literacy, and historical empathy in middle school learners.

Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset.

The Government of Canada offers Student Loan Forgiveness to teachers who work in Wetaskiwin for 10 consecutive months and has a student loan in good standing. You could receive up to $30,000 over a maximum of 5 years.
