Position Details

Position Description:

i4Geo is seeking a Graduate Assistant (Non-Teaching) to support the Institute’s communications, web presence, outreach, and events.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with website updates, content creation, and general web maintenance.
- Create and manage content for i4Geo social media channels.
- Assist with planning, promoting, and coordinating workshops, seminars,



and other events.
- Develop promotional materials, presentations, and event communications.
- Assist with event registration, logistics, photography, and post-event communications.
- Support other i4Geo communications, outreach, and related activities as needed.

Qualifications:

- Current University of Lethbridge graduate student.
- Solid written communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with social media and digital content creation.
- Experience or familiarity with website editing and content management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools is an asset.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Interest or experience in GIS, remote sensing, geography, or related fields is an asset.

Graduate Assistant wages will be paid according to Schedule A of the ULGSA Collective Agreement.
