Role Description The Graphic Designer (Packaging) will create visually compelling packaging designs that align with Glacier Fresh’s brand identity and product positioning. This contract role involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to develop packaging concepts, refine design layouts, and prepare production-ready files. The designer will work on graphics and typography for boxes, labels, inserts, and other brand assets, ensuring consistency across all visual materials.

Responsibilities also include adapting designs for different formats, integrating regulatory and technical information into packaging,



and maintaining brand guidelines. This is a hybrid role based in Markham, ON, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a focus on packaging for consumer products.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding to maintain and evolve a cohesive visual identity.
- Proficiency in Typography and layout design for clear, attractive, and readable packaging.
- Advanced ability with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent).
- Understanding of print production processes, dielines, and file preparation for manufacturers.
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling skills, and the ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid workplace.
- Relevant education or training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field; experience in packaging or consumer goods is an asset.
