Role Description The Hands-On Site Foreman/Site Supervisor is a full time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC, responsible for leading day-to-day construction activities on tenant improvement projects. This role oversees site crews, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and local regulations.

The Site

Foreman/Supervisor actively participates in field work, including carpentry and general construction tasks, while monitoring quality, schedule, and resource use. Daily responsibilities include conducting site meetings, maintaining clear communication with project managers and clients,



resolving on-site issues, and keeping accurate records of progress, materials, and inspections. The role also supports jobsite organization, equipment usage, and maintenance to uphold a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, crew coordination, and on-site decision-making.
- Candidates should possess experience operating or overseeing heavy equipment and understanding safe equipment practices.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for interacting with crews, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Candidates should possess practical carpentry skills and hands-on construction experience in commercial or tenant improvement projects.
- Candidates should possess maintenance skills related to tools, equipment, and general site upkeep.
- Relevant qualifications such as experience as a site foreman/supervisor, knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, and familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Vancouver, BC, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on safety.
- Industry certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, fall protection), and a valid driver’s license are considered assets.
