Opadez Home Health Services Inc. is expanding our home care team in Fort McMurray and is currently accepting applications from compassionate and dependable Health Care Aides/Home Support Workers for upcoming client assignments.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting and other ADLs
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Dementia support, cueing and companionship
- Meal preparation and light homemaking
- Medication reminders
- Supporting established exercise and daily routines
- Documentation of care provided
Preferred qualifications:
- HCA certification or relevant health-care/support experience
- Experience supporting seniors with Parkinson's disease and/or dementia is an asset
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable, patient and comfortable providing personal care
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta Position: Casual/Part time, with hours based on client assignments and availability
