We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both back-end and front-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and supporting distributed applications in a Linux environment and will be comfortable working in a hybrid model in Montreal, QC.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Full-stack development experience, including Java, JavaScript or Typescript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular (preferably version 17).
- Proficiency in Java (including Java 17 and/or Java 21), Maven/Gradle, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and Spring Security JWT (or OAuth2).
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases such as Neo4J and Postgres.
- Experience in microservice implementation and debugging in a Linux environment.
- Robust understanding of data structures/algorithms and software design.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins and version control systems like Git/Gerrit.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana and ELK/EFK Stack.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Linux and Unix systems.
- Familiarity with unit test frameworks such as Junit and Mockito and test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress.
- Proficiency in using IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA for backend and Visual Studio Code for frontend development.
- Experience with Free Open-Source Software and license handling.
- Experience working in an organization with cross-functional teams and Agile software development.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for application development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
