Enerwood is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Grinder Operator to join our wood-recycling and manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Excavator to feed a CBI 6800 horizontal grinder
- Process bark, wood waste and green waste
- Complete daily pre-trip and equipment inspections
- Monitor production and material quality
- Perform routine maintenance, greasing and cleaning
- Identify mechanical problems and report required repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- 5 years experience operating Horizontal grinder or CBI grinders
- Strong knowledge of grinder operation and maintenance
- Ability to operate loaders and Excavators with other support equipment is an asset
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic issues
- Reliable,
punctual and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
