Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Escort guests to their tables promptly, ensuring comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of host stand area, dining room entrances, and waiting areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Handle guest inquiries courteously,
providing information about menu items or restaurant policies
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met throughout your duties
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including restaurant or hotel settings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols to support kitchen operations
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or barista roles is advantageous for versatile support roles
- Excellent cleaning and sanitation practices to maintain a safe dining environment
- Effective teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate seamlessly between front-of-house and kitchen staff
- Hospitality background that emphasizes guest services and creating welcoming atmospheres
Pay: $18.25 per hour
