Position Title: Housekeeper

Part-time (20 hours per week)

Location: St. Andrews, MB.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented person to help keep our home clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We are looking for someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a home that feels fresh, organized, and spotless, and is comfortable and happy around dogs and animals.

This is more than just a quick clean! We are looking for someone who pays attention to the little things and is comfortable caring for the whole home including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, floors, surfaces, linens, and those often-overlooked details such as baseboards, trim, doors, mirrors, fixtures, and appliances. Occasional deep cleaning and light household tasks may also be included.

All necessary cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the home.
- Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks as required.
- Walk and care for the household dog as required.
- Change bed linens and assist with laundry or light household tasks as required.
- Handle household belongings, surfaces, and cleaning products with care.
- Follow specific cleaning instructions and homeowner preferences.




- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment organized and report when supplies need replenishing.
- Complete tasks independently while maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
- Assist with various other household and housekeeping duties as required.

Requirements

- Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required for commuting to and from the home.
- Previous residential cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Comfortable and confident around dogs and animals.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting as required.
- Knowledge of secure and effective cleaning practices.
- References preferred.
