Best Western Plus, Fergus is a reputable and welcoming hotel committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for all our guests. We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guestroom amenities
- Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize bathrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Ensure all assigned rooms are completed within shift timeframe
- Follow health and safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas in a clean, orderly condition
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (not mandatory – training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand,
lift, and bend for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must reside in Guelph, Fergus, or be willing to relocate
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
