HR/PAYROLL COORDINATOR - NEW Position!

Heavy Metal Equipment is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven individual looking to build their career as an HR/PAYROLL Coordinator to join the team in our Camrose, Alberta location.

The Job

The HR/Payroll Coordinator is an extremely important position within our organization and is responsible for:

- Direct administrative support to the department lead
- Coordinating meetings, calendars, deadlines, and HR initiatives
- Preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations
- Maintaining confidential HR documentation
- Tracking HR & Payroll projects and follow-ups
- Coordinating communications between HR/Payroll and other departments within the organization
- Assisting with onboarding, employee documentation, and HR processes
- Providing support for special projects
- Acting as a central point of coordination for the department

The candidate will typically work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. However, the HR/Payroll Coordinator is expected to adjust their schedule on occasion to meet the demands and timelines of the position. What We Need from YOU:

To be successful in this position, it is helpful to have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and database computer programs; experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and ADP would be an asset
- Demonstrated high standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly proactive, solution-focused, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organization and follow-through
- Ability to adapt and thrive in changing environments quickly, analyze and assess information, make appropriate recommendations, and prioritize tasks accordingly
