Brief Description
Active Leaders of Love is seeking a Volunteer Human Resources Lead (People & Culture Operations) to help build and support the people, systems, and culture that drive our mission forward.
We are looking for a collaborative, people-focused leader passionate about talent acquisition, volunteer engagement, and organizational development. This role will work closely with Department Leads and the Executive Operations Team to attract, support, and retain talented volunteers while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
Role Responsibilities o Lead volunteer recruitment and talent acquisition process optimization o Support onboarding, retention,
and engagement o Partner with the team on people strategies, policies, processes, and best practices o Strengthen organizational culture and volunteer experience o Contribute to and develop Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives o Aid workforce planning and organizational growth initiatives o Leadership and team development o Manage volunteer recognition, volunteer engagement programs, and welfare strategies
Who We Are Looking For o HR, People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, or volunteer management experience o Strong communication and relationship-building skills o Leadership experience in nonprofit or community organizations preferred o Passion for community impact and team-oriented leadership
