Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR functions within our mining operations in Bissett, Manitoba. This position is essential for fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and enhancing employee engagement. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the HR department and support the strategic goals of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

- Support onboarding and orientation processes for recent employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company.

- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

- Support employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.

- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.

- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and payroll processes.

- Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to improve retention strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.





- Previous internship experience in Human Resources or a related area.

- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in Canada.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
