About the Position

We are looking for an experienced HVAC technician with robust experience in BOTH residential HVAC service and installation. The successful candidate must be comfortable troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing a variety of residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and hot water tanks.

We are a busy HVAC company located in Carleton Place, Ontario, proudly serving customers throughout the Ottawa Valley. We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and professional technician to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has excellent technical and troubleshooting abilities, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Service AND install residential HVAC equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, hot water tanks, and other residential equipment
- Complete residential HVAC installations efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, and equipment-related issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain service and repair requirements
- Complete work orders, service reports, and required paperwork accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, codes, and regulations




- Work independently in the field while contributing positively to a team environment
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company professionally
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and continue developing technical skills

Required Qualifications
- Minimum G2 Gas Technician License
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience
- Strong experience in BOTH HVAC service and installation
- Valid ODP Card
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Clean criminal record check
- Experience with residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and hot water tanks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Professional appearance and reliable attendance

Pay: $21.34-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
