Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations of HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes quickly
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC units, including pipe fittings and drainage systems
- Utilize welding skills for component fabrication or repair when necessary to maintain system integrity
- Work on boilers and other mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute service tasks
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each job performed to ensure proper documentation and follow-up
Skills
- 5 plus years solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems and appliance repair
- G2 gas license
- 313D residencial AC license and ODP
- Ability to read schematics accurately and apply technical knowledge effectively
- Mechanical or mechanic experience with a focus on maintenance and troubleshooting of complex systems
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for precise repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to system diagnostics
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
