Duties
- Assist senior HVAC technicians with installation and repair of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical diagrams
- Support maintenance activities on boilers, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Help with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and other building utilities
- Prepare work sites by organizing tools and materials needed for various mechanical tasks
- Learn to interpret schematics and technical manuals to better understand system layouts and troubleshooting procedures
- Support welding tasks or mechanical repairs as directed by experienced technicians
- Participate in construction projects involving HVAC infrastructure or related mechanical systems
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with appliances repair or construction work is preferred
- Willingness to learn plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and schematic reading skills
- Mechanical or mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hands-on work is essential
- Strong interest in HVAC systems, maintenance practices, and building utilities
- Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully and work safely in various environments
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
- Prior experience in construction or with schematics will be advantageous but is not required
