Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000

As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced In-House Painter to join our Edmonton maintenance team.

The Role The In-House Painter will be responsible for completing painting, patching, touch-ups, and related finishing work across UnitiiPM-managed residential properties.

A significant part of this role will involve preparing suites for new residents during unit turnovers, as well as maintaining the appearance of occupied units, common areas, hallways, offices, and other areas throughout our properties.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works efficiently, and can be trusted to complete jobs properly with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and paint apartment and townhome interiors during unit turnovers
- Complete painting and touch-up work in occupied residential units
- Paint common areas, hallways, stairwells, offices, and other property spaces as required
- Prepare surfaces by filling holes, repairing minor drywall damage, sanding, caulking, and priming
- Match existing paint colours and finishes for touch-up work
- Protect flooring, fixtures, appliances, cabinetry, and resident belongings while completing work
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout each project
- Properly store, maintain, and care for painting tools, equipment, and supplies




- Monitor paint and material inventory and communicate supply requirements
- Complete assigned work orders and turnover projects within expected timelines
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or property damage noticed while working in units
- Follow company safety procedures and proper handling requirements for paints and materials
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, property managers, maintenance staff, and other contractors
- Assist with other minor property maintenance or finishing tasks when required

What We're Looking For

- Previous professional painting experience, ideally in residential, multifamily, property management, renovation, or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, patching, sanding, priming, rolling, brushing, and finishing techniques
- Ability to complete clean, professional cut lines and consistent finishes
- Experience completing drywall patches and minor wall repairs
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to manage multiple work orders and changing priorities
- Comfortable working independently across multiple properties
- Professional and respectful when working in occupied homes
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
- Physically capable of performing painting duties, including standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, bending, lifting,



and carrying equipment and supplies

Requirements

- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable transportation to travel between UnitiiPM properties
- Ability to provide basic painting tools considered an asset (We will supply the Tools)
- Ability to successfully complete any required employment screening
- Previous experience working in occupied residential properties is considered a strong asset
- Working on Month end is required (Last day of the Month) to complete Mutiple Back to Back Turn overs in a single day as a team.
