Duties
- Deliver engaging, in-person tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding core concepts across multiple subjects
- Create a supportive environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and active participation
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians about achievements and areas for improvement
- Develop customized lesson plans and educational activities to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom atmosphere at all times
- Collaborate with other educators or program coordinators to ensure consistent support for students’ academic growth
Experience
- Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate students
- Classroom experience that demonstrates the ability to manage diverse learning needs effectively
- Passion for education and helping students succeed in their academic journeys
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student requirements and feedback
