Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects ~(Provide cost estimating services and subject matter expertise including review and validation of contractor estimates, quotations and pricing submissions, change order and claims evaluations, cost impact assessments, estimate assurance, benchmarking, forecasting support, peer reviews, risk-related cost assessments, cost reconciliations, and support for project budgeting and commercial decision-making. ~ Develop and approve estimate plans, budgets, and schedules for major projects ~ Outline the human and material resources required to successfully execute the estimating services on a project ~ Manage and control the delivery of the estimated project work per the project plan ~ Monitor estimating staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and specified deadlines ~ Identify estimating risks, participate in risk discussions, and implement mitigation strategies, and associated contingency plans and recommendations ~ Track, monitor, and report performance against project requirements and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate ~ Evaluate estimating effectiveness by consulting with clients and project staff ~ Optimize estimating data, basis, and assumptions for completeness and reasonableness and correlate to other projects and standards ~ Responsible for approving discipline estimates and study presentations, comparisons, and reconciliations ~ Revalidate the estimate plan as required and manage changes to base estimates generated by both internal and external sources, including vendor-driven changes ~ Recommend and approve contingency and elevate rates to be presented to the project team ~ Analyze the complete Request for Proposal (RFP)
and incorporation of commercial terms and conditions (tax and currency exchange, etc.) ~ Formulate and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, client executives, and key stakeholders ~ Clarify the internal quality control check and participate in quality issue resolution ~ Define the success criteria for estimating services and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle ~ Recommend and manage project and program expectations for Estimating services while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders ~ Hybrid (Vancouver 4 days/week, Remote 1 day/week) With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as versatile as possible to support your specific work/life needs Minimum of 14 years of experience in large or complex Project Estimating or related discipline Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field licensure or certifications including Certified Engineering Technologist (CET), Certified Estimating Professional (CEP), Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (CEP-AACE) BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: Demonstrate skill in performing all levels and types of estimating, quantification, pricing, cost analysis, escalation, and contingency analysis Proven technical excellence with the ability to inspire confidence in the integrity of the estimate Extensive knowledge of engineering performance, manual labor performance, equipment production, and derivation of manual and non-manual wage or salary rates Expert capability to understand current industry and technical developments, bond and insurance terminology and pricing, currency exchange impacts, and hedging arrangements Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Ability to arrange priorities and elevate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership Proven capacity to anticipate, identify,
and minimize risks Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices Proven success in providing leadership for project teams by building and motivating them to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
