Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (5+ years) to own bare metal hardware and automation using Cisco UCS, Ansible, Windows, and Red Hat systems

Join a large regulated banking environment supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms and bare metal automation initiatives. This role focuses on Cisco UCS M7/M8, Dell, and HP server platforms across provisioning, patching, performance tuning, and lifecycle management activities for Windows and Red Hat environments. The position will take ownership of automation initiatives as Ansible-based provisioning and day-2 operations are expanded across multiple hardware platforms.

You will work closely with infrastructure, SAN, Windows, Linux, and automation engineering teams within a multi-team environment.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 2 days currently, could increase to 4 days as per Bank

Must Haves

- 5+ years in a similar Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Administrator role
- Cisco UCS M7/M8 and Intersight architecture, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Ansible playbook development for bare metal automation and provisioning workflows
- Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux support across standalone and clustered systems
- Bachelor’s Degree

- FI experience
- Exposure to other hardware platforms

Responsibilities

- Own architecture, configuration,



and lifecycle management for Cisco UCS M7/M8, Dell, and HP server hardware
- Build and extend Ansible playbooks for bare metal automation across UCS, Dell, and HP platforms
- Design and build UCS service profiles, server pools, and fabric interconnect configurations
- Serve as the L3 escalation point for UCS platform issues affecting Windows and Red Hat systems
- Define patching requirements for fabric interconnects and UCS servers
- Troubleshoot automated and manual provisioning workflow issues
- Coordinate with SAN, Windows, Linux, and automation engineering teams on hardware and provisioning requirements
