Position: Infrastructure Developer

Duration: Full Time, Perm

:

- Develop and deploy systems for hosting Halogen’s Cloud Management System and solutions.
- Integrate with key SaaS infrastructure components and development components.
- Interface with other key Halogen teams pertaining to internal and external solutions.
- Developing in the SaaS Platform team at Halogen using:

- 1. Spring Framework / Java – Code base.

Big Data Infrastructure – Spark / Hadoop.
- 4. Expanded report base and reporting framework.

Desired Skills and Experience

We expect that the successful candidate will:
- Have a Degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience developing web-based applications with Java/J2EE.
- Have knowledge of shell scripting (BASH) and Unix operation systems.
- Have demonstrated experience with:

- 1. JBoss and Jetty
- 2. Databases – particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL
- 3. STS/Eclipse or similar IDE
- 4. Ideally have knowledge of JQuery, Spark / Hadoop, and Nagios plugins / deployments
