Role Description

This is a full time hybrid role for an Insurance Broker, located in the Greater Oshawa Metropolitan Area, with opportunities for partial work from home.

The Insurance

Broker will be responsible for assessing client needs, offering tailored insurance solutions, managing insurance policies, and assisting clients with claims and policy updates. The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to educate clients on insurance options,



and a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets. Fostering strong relationships with both clients and insurance providers is key.

Qualifications

- Experience in Insurance Brokerage, including working with various types of insurance such as Home, Automobile, Business, or Specialty Insurance
- Knowledge of Insurance and Finance principles, with a focus on risk assessment and customized coverage solutions
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with clients
- Experience in Retirement Planning and providing guidance for long-term financial goals
- Proficiency in managing multiple client accounts and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment
- Licensed RIBO professional status is required
- Experience in sales or business development in an insurance context is an asset
