Join Pomerleau as a Design Intern and contribute to the coordination of studies, drawings, and technical documentation while helping ensure project objectives are met. This is a unique opportunity to see major construction projects come to life, from design through construction
What you will do
- Coordinate professionals involved in the design development process, including architects, engineers, and specialized consultants;
- Support the production of studies, drawings, and specifications in alignment with project objectives and schedules;
- Manage technical documentation and design reviews;
- Coordinate technical questions and responses from clients, consultants, and construction teams;
- Distribute drawings and technical information to the estimating team, suppliers, and subcontractors involved in the project;
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure design constructability;
- Provide technical support to construction teams, including responding to requests for information (RFIs);
- Conduct site visits as required.
This role could be for you if you have
- Enrolled in an Engineering or Architecture program;
- Willingness to work in the office and visit project sites;
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills;
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to learn;
- A passion for construction and a drive to make a meaningful impact.
