Join Pomerleau as a Surveyor Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting major construction projects across Canada.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with construction layout, monitoring, laser scanning, and survey field activities.
- Handle the survey rod for topography and set layout points.
- Opportunity to learn and operate a variety of survey equipment, including robotic total stations, GNSS/GPS receivers, digital levels, and terrestrial laser scanners.
- Follow instructions from the Chief Surveyor, Project Manager, and Superintendent.
- Assist in preparing field notes, sketches, reports, data, and survey documentation.
- Assist with survey equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
What you'll bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Geomatics Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction, or related post-secondary program.
- Strong interest in construction surveying and geomatics.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
- A positive mindset and sense of excitement for being in the action everyday on-site.
- A proven track record of team collaboration, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
