As an intern at Pomerleau Construction, you will have the opportunity to support current and ongoing project growth while gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you'll work closely with our teams to learn the ropes and make a real impact.
What you will do
- Implement VDC processes and BIM technologies in ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with project teams for requirements analysis.
- Produce and coordinate 3D models using BIM software.
- Prepare and present project documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with VDC standards, staying updated on industry trends.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients.
- Provide valuable assistance to the team, actively contributing to a collaborative office environment.
This role could be for you if you have
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficient in VDC tools, including BIM software.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate versatility and curiosity.
