Role: Java Full-stack Developer

Location: Downtown, Toronto

Duration: 12 months

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in systems development with 6 years in Springboot, Java, and Java EE workplace
- Experience developing client facing, web applications supporting multiple browsers using Google Web Toolkit (GWT) is desired but not necessary.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliance requirements in web applications.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA standards, ARIA attributes, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and accessibility testing tools.
- Experience developing client facing, web applications supporting multiple browsers using Angular 16 & above is a must.




- Excellent Java EE skills as they pertain to developing for JBoss containers.
- Strong knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of systems development life cycle
- Experience developing client facing, W3C standards compliant, secure web applications supporting multiple browsers and operating systems
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Understands and values Business Partnerships and Customer perspectives.
- Able to deal with a broad spectrum of personality types.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Excellent technical skills and experience with the environments and tools identified
- Nice to have IBM Business Rules knowledge
