We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking candidate to join our cabinet making team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow within the company. This entry level position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. While the majority of the role will be based at our facility in Trenton, there may be some on site time assisting in delivery and/or installation of cabinetry.
Duties
- Assist in operating CNC Machines
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in loading cabinets for shipping
- Assist in general cabinet assembly
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cabinet shop would be an asset but not required.
- Previous experience with CNC router machinery or similar is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Positive communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Valid Drivers Licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
