EIPS is recruiting an interim, part-time (0.676 FTE) Junior High Humanities Teacher at Fultonvale Elementary Junior High for MORNING ONLY. This assignment will teach:

- Junior high level English
- Design Studies
- Physical Education and Wellness classes

Fultonvale Elementary Junior High serves approximately 440 students in kindergarten to Grade 9, with 23 teaching staff and seven support staff. The school is located in rural Strathcona County, AB, approximately 13 kilometres southeast of Sherwood Park, AB. The Fultonvale Elementary Junior High mission is to provide a positive environment where students are able to develop to their full potential. The school promotes lifelong learning and continuous personal growth and development for all students, staff and families. Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Effective organization and classroom management skills

- Ability to create a classroom workplace where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction

- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
- Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
